Real estate continuing education courses are being developed by American Contractors. Courses will be based on subject matter such as Understanding New construction, Good design from a contractor's perspective and Working with Contractors. Real Estate professionals seem to be growing weary of the typical Contract Class and Agency Law. Check back soon for approved online real estate training courses. In the meantime, Math for Contractors, Roofing Math and Spanish for Contractors courses are available and may be beneficial to your career.
- Anyone holding an active Real Estate License in the State of Alabama must complete 15 hours of continuing education every two years.
- Three of the 15 hours must be an approved course (Course Code 500) covering Risk Management.
- The remaining 12 of the 15 hours can be an approved elective course.
- Salespersons must complete 30 hours of post licensing education within the first six months of licensure for active licensees and within one year for inactive licensees.
